Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
Well friends and neighbors, I remember laughing when David Lunbeck said something about writing mad songs, never thought *I'd* write one, though. Here's the deal: I was training a student back in November of 2007, when I caught wind of another driver I knew that had a girlfriend in another state, and this guy had a wife and three kids! Now, to me, that's disgusting, and I won't and don't apologize for my attitude toward adultery, I've been married going on 23 years, and a promise was made, and to break that promise is something a person should NEVER do. Get OUT of the relationship first before you try and find someone else. Anyway, mad as I was, it took around a week for the lyrics to come through, and I wrote them down. There is a moral to this song, though it IS a secular one this time around. The moral is this: Once you come forward, you can NEVER go back. My grateful thanks to Kurt Lewis Neufer once again for his assistance in playing guitar for this piece, I really enjoy working with him. :)
Lyrics
You Can Never Go Back You're thinking it's your time to have some fun; Taking your day out in the sun. Quite frankly, I think you've lost your mind. You need to wake up while there's still time. You're two steps away from losing your whole world To the age-old sin of temptation's lure. You don't know what you've got until it's gone, No one left but you to blame it on. (chorus) When a decision's been made, followed through; Everything you do will come back to you. You pay a price, when you roll the dice. Oh, you think you've got eyes in the back of your head, That you won't get caught, but think on what I've said. You could lose it all, If you stumble and fall. 'Cause once you've come forward, you can never go back. I've said all that I have come to say, And I'm leaving to go my own way. 'cuz I know my advice can only go so far. Boy, I wouldn't want to be where you are.

Hi Tammy, Thanks David Lunbeck. I love this one! I do like your message it is very good unfortunately this would be lost on the person that got you mad. It takes a certain kind of person to live life that way. Wonderful song. chorus was musically top notch and nice job on the harmonies there as well. A secular song indeed and in fact you are in good company on this as you might not be as up on the John Lennon Solo catalog but he has a song called you dont Know what you got until you lose it and whether your song or his or many others with that message that is a life lesson that some people learn the hard way. Great work!

Tammy, very nice intro, I really the harmonies on this one they are so pretty , of course the lyrics I like also, I like the walk down bass line right in the middle of the chorus very nice , this song really needs a real fiddle don't you think ? don't know where you would put a fiddle solo but that would sound so good , just a thought a first impression thought wish I knew a fiddle, mandolin player .... great vocals you sing so well . cheers D

Hi Tammy Just following that wonderful voice again ;-) how's life treating you this week? We've got a blast of cold weather here, it was -6.5 as i drove to work this morning. I love this song Tammy, another class act may i say. The key boards at the start really set the mood for the song and of course the harmonies, as always are fantastic. Hope life is good and that your taking good care of yourself. All the best my friend. Danny

A powerful and poignant statement that needed to be presented, and was done so with tact and sensibility. If it helps even one potential jerk from blowing it than it was well worth the fine effort. Extremely well crafted with nice melodies and a shimmering vocal performance. Great work Tammy (and Kurt!), and thank you for stopping by and for the really kind words about our new one. Have a wonderful week ahead! Luv 'n Hugs, Mike
