Alexis Van Eeckhout, a self-taught musician and a student of the American Saxophonist J.R. Monterose, comes back, as hobby, with what is called a "Jazz-Fresh" (chill-out) style. His musical experience started at a very early age in his family. His first instrument of predilection whas the Clarinet. He played some Classical pieces o f music with his father who was a professional Classical Composer, Organist, and Orchestra's Chief., Later, he played Tenor sax, Alto sax, Soprano sax and Traverse flute with several Belgian bands . Since 1997, he has focused on blending his musical experiences and influences in order to create his own style. Working on his musical phrasing, melody, harmonisation and rythm as well as on a global musical ambiance for each piece. He likes to try a new musical approach with proposing new ways in harmonical structures . These pieces have been composed, performed ( Tenor-sax, Keyboards, Synth ) programmed ( Alto Sax vsti, Trumpet vsti, Pan Pipes flute vsti, Fula flute vsti, Traverse flute vsti, Bandoneon vsti, Acoustic piano vsti, Fender piano vsti, Vibraphone vsti, Hammond organ vsti, Guitars vsti, Violins vsti, Bass vsti, Double-Bass vsti, Drums vsti, Percussions vsti ) and recorded, mixed, mastered by Alexis Van Eeckhout himself . Truly, a music well suited for dream and evasion...

Hi Alexis! I don't know why, but I always close my eyes when I listen to your music. I think it might be because there's certain spacious vibes to your music. You just seem to know when to add or subtract sounds. This song is like reading a book with mysteries waiting to unfold. Great work as always. Mas PGP

this again is a typical song for you - very well arranged - not to much & not to empty, a non-boring piece of excellence with a super-soft saxophone

Production on this tracks is outstanding, of course sax is fantastic. Great drum and percussion programming. FX are placed just right, fretless bass sounds are solid and inviting. Orchestrations and keys are conducted and played perfectly, another great example of talent at play, isn't it fun. This is a very passionate and adventurous piece, highly recommended.
Fantastic, mysterious song Alexis...has such "dark"overtones,I will have to hear this one a few more dozen times to really get a grip on the futuristic time warp, feel.Really think this one of your best!Thankyou..

Classical edge, and an incredible, exciting soundtrack feeling... I'm particularly blown away by the sound! The piano is gold, and the dynamical drumwork, the bass, orchestration and of course your sax are the diamonds. Love all the unexpected things... what a master!!!

This song is so complex Alexis, i have no clue where you come up with all this. This song wanders far and wide in so many ways...melodically, key changes, instrumentation and textures. Great panning and the overall DEPTH of the mix is amazing. Your sax never sounded better. Love the fretless tones. I see you did this one all alone. Lord. You are quite the Indie artist my friend. Bravo and 5 easy stars...
