Story behind the song
This was a song I had kicking around for years. I ran into Buddy Miles at Sliders in the Florida, and I let Buddy listen to Everybody Gets The Blues, and he thought it was good enough to record, so we hired Buddy to come in and do vocals for us. It turned out great. As much as I like that version, I've got a new version of Everybody Gets The Blues coming soon. We're going away from the slick, West Coast blues style, and back to a more traditional, authentic blues sound. We're adding keyboards and organ, and a drummer with an entirely different attitude.
