Welcome! I am a singer/songwriter of different styles of Christian and Country Music....Enjoy the message I bring, and may your heart be ministered to.
Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
The year was 1999, trouble was brewing at the place I worked at, people were angry, and two people(me and a security guard named Jim) wrote a song, that nearly got me fired. LOL The union contract came up that year, and you can imagine what kinds of hi-jinks were going on. The uncertainty was driving people crazy, kept hearing rumors about all kinds of things, and most of what we heard wound up in the song. LOL I found this on cassette tape and remastered it from that. Please enjoy the listen and keep an open mind....the song is mostly self-explanatory, but SO much fun to do! :) I laughed, listening to this once again, after it'd been in cobwebs for so long!
Lyrics
Talking part: "We feel, as members of the Union, we have every right to poke fun, especially at the Holidays...so sit back and enjoy, don't get too mad now, Santa's watching!" On the First day of Christmas my union gave to me, A pay raise that never came through. On the Second day of Christmas my union gave to me Two short breaks. On the Third day of Christmas my union gave to me, Three recounts. On the Fourth day of Christmas my union gave to me, Four poor excuses. On the Fifth day of Christmas my union gave to me, Five misspelled words. On the Sixth day of Christmas my union gave to me, Six dancing reps. On the Seventh day of Christmas my union gave to me, Seven points off. On the Eighth day of Christmas my union gave to me, Eight day weeks. On the Ninth day of Christmas my union gave to me, Nine flat out lies. On the Tenth day of Christmas my union gave to me, Ten minute lunches. On the Eleventh day of Christmas my union gave to me, Eleven tongues a-waggin' On the Twelfth day of Christmas my union gave to me, Twelve fights at meetings. Tag: Gee, thanks Guys!
