Lyrics
I have a dream, That I won't be judged by my past. That the willingness, and eagerness to learn Will always last That the world won't seem like Hinduism Like as if all that is diverse is in the lower caste Getting treated as if their ability to learn and succeed is not foreseen in their future But NO!!! We won't let that get past US US as a whole Us as African Americans Us as Spanish US as minorities Have to come together as one to reach our ultimate goal The goal to be free of ignorance The goal to be free of hate The goal to be free of judging While others sit around and laugh about another victory they have gained They do not know, nor understand the real pain The pain of being judged The pain of being hated The pain of running into ignorance So, now is not the time to rejoice We can't be happy until they hear our voice Us as minorities it is our choice To lower into the caste system And end up invisible, unknown, and not seen Or to be regenerated into a new existence And use God's shoulder to lean We will move higher and higher Like fire we will rise We will get thicker and thicker like smoke Until our enemies choke And give us our future We have to come together as one Until all our past actions Are finished with, forgotten and done And then in the end we will have fun Something to celebrate? Yes!! Because our future we have won.
