TREYSUN DA PROBLEM CHILD
VIP BOYZ PROD.
December ’84, birthed in the backwoods of Alabama and tainted by the allure of D.C. Trey has arranged himself in good company. The first recording artist off TrakkHouse Records is taking DC by storm. Writing his first verse at 8 years old, Treysun born Ludariek Morrissette entered the world with one thing on his mind “succeeding by any means necessary”. Growing up he felt the pains and sorrows like the of majority of urban American youth, but the effects of not having any parental guidance only motivated him. Between moving around and being scrapped up by the streets he discovered the meaning of a gift and a curse. An active athlete at Maurice J. Macdonough H. S., Trey proved himself on the court, “I was a crazy basketball player; I was MVP, all country, all metro, player of the year. MVP of the all star game, leading in assist and scoring,” states Morrissette. As his career took a turn for shallow water he decided maybe basketball wasn’t the answer. Accepting the consequences, he has now found himself in the studio revisiting a dream he still can’t shake. “Music chose me, plus I believe my talent is a heavy blessing” as he dedicates himself to his lyrical calling he isn’t alone. Trey credits his grandfather for his work ethics and discipline. With the foundation of versatility, whether an R&B ballad or club banger, he is known to accommodate with the charisma of a true seasoned veteran. His personal style has so many angles, that listeners of all ages and genre can appreciate and his verbal agility is dazzling. He delivers strong punch lines, but mysteriously enough he doesn’t sound like your typical punch line artist. This sets him apart from other up and coming hip hop beast. From musical influences, to some of spoken words great performers there is no disguise for his love of the arts. Trey’s music is a combination of many of rap’s elite artist we’ve seen in this generation. The Problem Child the world has yet to find a solution for, this sizzling artist out of DC.MD., is here to serve up a gumbo of greatness. After reigning 18 weeks on the Friday Night Mic Fight, Treysun showed DC.MD.VA. just a glimpse of what is to come. Similar to his musical influences, being the best at what he does is more than a job. With the ability to make others see what he sees and feel what he feels, the doors have opened for the new movement in hip hop. Visualizing his purpose; Trey is beginning to value the cards that had been dealt to him. For booking information or interviews you may reach Ms. DSB, Trey's manager at 240-286-8357.
