such a cool song...great synth work & knob twisting!! fantastic production. i love the punchy kick drum and breaky percussion work. nice mixing of sounds. kind of a mellow loungey-dance tune with a nice injection of smooth jazz, for flavor. you have got skills, for sure!!!!!

Funky, jazzy new age. Very cool. There's synth and sax overlay(s), attack, and phrasings in this that are just too cool. The sort of things I would love to have thought of.
It could have gone on the "alternative good stuff that I would like to have thought of" station. But I put it on the New Age Jazz station. Anyway, I think it deserves a wider listening than I have to suppose it's gotten.
This piece is up to your usually high playing and production standards, and also, to my ear anyway, especially unique. A most satisfying piece of music to my ear(s).

Very dramatic and as it progresses, there is so much sentiment, with a sweet coolness, and aloofness dancing with the original drama you got going on....love it!!!!

I'm not familiar with Herb Mump, but I'm sure he'd be impressed with his association and totally pleased in every way!!!!! Another marvel has perched itself in your tree of spirituality and knowledge in musical form.....pervasive in beauty & soul....a remarkable pleasing melody that radiates heart and intelligence.......soul and mind......wisdom and timelessness!!!!! A mind can take flight, though we're shackled to the earth by gravity and this music lifts the spirit!!!!!!!! Awesome Al, just AWESOME~!!!!!!!!!

I really like the softness of the arpeggiated synth. It feels like entering a planet out of space. I'm a great fan of these electronic/jazzy mashups. This piece sounds actually more cheerful, not so melancholic. Maybe I'm all wrong with the space idea, but i got somehow the impression that the song is more about calmness than about lonelyness, a thing which is really hard, if it's somehow in that space-alike-aesthetic. Mah, i don't know if that makes any sense. Nice piece :) (though it would definitly benefit from a cool voice)

Definitely a winner here!
I'm really diggin the rich texture and the delay on the sax is sweet! Love the drum beat against the layout (good use of "less is more").

A very nice introductions followed a beautiful melody. Synths leads, pads, and effects in counter point and used with very good taste create a very colorful orchestration!!!

A simmering brew - baste that bass, grill that guitar, stir that synth, top with sax. This is a super slick, epicurean feast! Awesome.
