Story behind the song
My family and I came from a Buddhist backgound.
The day I was miracleously saved in 1987, God brought me to heaven in a dream, and in the last part of the dream, I was standing by a large lake of brilliant fire and people were thrown into the lake of fire. I could hear screamings and pains and I could even smell the sulphurous smoke in the air. A large crowd was standing by the lake and watching. Beside me, I could also see my family, relatives, friends and collegues.
Suddenly a person in white came to me and said, 'KB, don't stand there with them they are all going to die and be thrown into the lake of fire.'
I realized that they are my people, my family, relatives, friends and collegues and I began to cry aloud. 'Don't let them die, O God, please don't let them die, they are my people.'
And I woke up from my dream still crying loudly.
I almost could hear God's voice saying, 'Go and tell them about me and they will be saved.'
From that day onwards, I was filled with the passion to tell people about the good news of God.
To date, twenty years later, my whole family has been saved, many of my relatives, friends and collegues have also been saved.
I have now four Pastors in the family and many psalmists and leaders of churches. Hallelujah!!!
God is a faithful God, He promised if a member of the family is saved, the whole family will be saved. Praise His Name!!!
Joshua 24:14-16'...choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.'
I was very inspired by His faithfulness and I wrote this song. I would specially like to dedicate it to the families of the world who are serving God. Amen.
