Blackland: Southern Rock-N-Roll
BLACKLAND: original rock-n-roll. The band has been peforming since 1998 at clubs, festivials and fairs throughout the Southeast. We have released three albums so far and working on a forth. Blackland's all original music comes from the heart and soul of Muscle Shoals, Alabama but don't be confused, you will hear very little (if any) of the old "Muscle Shoals Sound". The music has been described as "Metallica meets Skynyrd" and we are totally cool with that, actually we embrace it. The band makes it home in the former East Avalon Recorders facility in Muscle Shoals. The studio is now known as Clear Day Studio and our music is published through Cleardaymessenger Publishing. just a song from one of our lives.
Lyrics
Well see that train it's running down the tracks carry me to my home Did not know this could happen to you how did things get so wrong Worked real hard on this problem of mine yes I've got a bad fault If you can do better than me then I quess you'll move on See that dog on the side of the road he ain't got no home Sleeps all day in a burned out barn and at night he roams Quess he's just a little like me kinda looks out for his own By the time you see the light You know I'll be long gone Clear Day Messenger Publishing 2007 (ASCAP)
