Hello! I'm very glad you stopped in to listen and visit. :) The message I carry is simply this...Jesus loves you and I do too. Hope you enjoy what you hear, and get a blessing from the music, as God does not give His people gifts to just set them upon the shelf, and never be used. I'm only as good as the Lord helps me to be, and I'm thankful for the blessings He has bestowed upon me. I'm NOT perfect, never claimed to be; but on the other hand, I have a message to minister in song, and I do that to the best of my ability. I fully realize there are many songs I demo here that don't fit my style/voice, but I can't run out and get a singer that fits everytime I write a song. :) What I write or cover comes from the heart. I've endured many hard trials in my life, and each one has, in one way or the other made its way into a song that others can relate to. All of my songs except for noted exceptions are free downloads. I'm not a professional by any means, nor am I interested in becoming one; and so the music is given away just as freely as the message was given to me. Story behind the song
Every person in his/her lifetime is faced with this; a looking back, a pondering, and these same questions we ask of ourselves. The question is do you just learn from the experiences or do you become stagnant and bitter? I can remember a time when I was so deep within, I didn't think there was any way thru, much less out....but God, in His infinite mercy makes a way when there isn't one, and praise God I came thru! And concluded that for the questions, "I'd Say It Was" I have cried many times to Him, and I have been shown many times that in time, I will be glad I got to the place I made it to, and He was always right....I look back and see what I was, and what I have become....and I wouldn't go backwards in time for anything. The experiences of a lifetime have changed me for all time. I wrote this song around three weeks ago specifically for Dawn Diamond to sing.....the song itself is emotional writing and comes, once again out of a trial I've experienced...it is my hope that it ministers to you as deeply as it ministered to me as I was writing it. My deepest gratitude to Dawn for covering it, she is the sweetest lady. But most of all, my thanks be unto the Lord Jesus Christ, because it is with and through Him that I create and bring forth what He gives me. Without Him I could do nothing at all. The whole track was inspirational, as I could actually hear the parts being played out as I wrote the words and fine-tuned them....what shocked me was that I was actually able to come out with it exactly the way I heard it in my head. And I heard Ms Dawn singing the song...she did such a wonderful job..all of the emotion contained within the writing was intact in her voice....it has brought many tears for me as I've listened back and worked on this, thanks again, Dawn. :) My thanks also to David Lunbeck, a very talented guitarist who added the lead and rhythm parts to this song, thank you, David! :)
