Story behind the song
8am Thursday morning, mug of tea cooling on the kitchen table, guitar in my hands... what's a girl to do, but write a song... so I did :c)
Lyrics
All The Good Men Written by: Lexie Green Guitar: Lexie Green Piano: Lexie Green Lyrics: You left today You were on your way And I went about my day Oh before too long I was sad and you were gone A million miles away So I’m not gonna try But I’m not gonna lie Cause I think I’m gonna cry Oh I’m just a fool With a heart that’s full But there’s room for you inside Where have all the good men gone? Everything I know, everything I feel now seems so wrong The sun has gone away; all I feel now is the rain Oh where, have all the good men gone? What’s a girl to do? Without you To brighten up her day I’ll wait patiently Until you return to me And put a smile back on my face So I’m not gonna try And I’m not gonna lie But I’m gonna cry Oh I’m just a fool With a heart that’s full But there’s room for you inside Where have all the good men gone? Everything I know, everything I see now seems so wrong The sun has gone away; all I feel now is the rain Oh where have all the good men gone? Where have all the good men gone? Everything I know, everything I see now seems so wrong The sun has gone away; all I feel now is the rain Oh where have all the good men gone? Oh where have all the good men gone? Oh where have all the good men gone? Copyright © 2007 Music and Lyrics Alexandria (Lexie) Maria Green
