Story behind the song
I was performing with Wes Cardy at the Halstead empire one evening, and i loved this song as soon as i heard him sing it on stage, and new i just had to record it, he very kindly gave me permission to do so.

Sweet country-pop ballad. Reminds me of Dolly Parton and Olivia Newton-John. Nicely done. As good as a lot of country tunes I've heard on the radio. After a long hiatus from SoundClick I finally came out with a new song this week.

It's shameful of me I know, but I'm only discovering your music now, seen your profile pic many times but hardly any free time to listen to artists, just been responding to other's visits. Finally I get to hear your stuff Haley and I'm very impressed. Not with just this song but all of them. I'm a traditional country fan, that's what I started on, and your music is great, your voice kind of reminds me of Dolly, just beautiful, full of emotion and conviction to your lyrics.
