Story behind the song
This is one of the tracks from my album of orchestral music depicting the Legends of King Arthur. King Uther Pendragon loved the fair Igraine of Cornwall but she did not return his love. Merlin offered to cast a spell on her provided the King give him his first born son. Uther agreed and he and Igraine married happily. One night a baby son was born to Igraine. [this is the scene the music depicts.....] As Uther looked upon the child's face, he was grieved when he remembered his promise to Merlin. He named the tiny boy Arthur, then commanded that he should be taken down to the postern gate, wrapped in a cloth of gold. The knights that took Arthur were told that at the gate they would see an old man. They were told to give the baby to the old man, Merlin, who would be waiting at the Postern gate.

Beautiful sad and expressive music, Steve, sounds so dark and mystical... Jiri
