Howdy ES,
What this song means to me...? It means there is not enough stars here to represent all of what this melody offers!!!! Excellent lead, rhythm, persussion... fused into a sound that I don't want to let finish..... in other words.... MORE!!!! A major work here.... and as I said, there's not enough stars for this song..... but this one should be on a cd included with the "bESt of ES".
With respect and admiration,
Wade

Love the drum work, and slide is heartbreakingly emotive. Nice full sound and the telephone effects are well placed for maximum effect. Some very interesting and strong rhythmic shifts as well great dynamics developed out of the blend of rhythm guitar and slide. Very well done, I enjoyed this listen very much.

I usually enjoy giving your stuff a spin, but this one's really got me tonight folks. There's a deep, deep vibe going on, and from a Guitar nerds perspective, those long, slow slides down at the end of some of the lines are just sickening! Marvelous stuff, people.

Ahhh... Great feeling in the rich, melodic guitar tone. Crisp clear rhythm and a just right blend with the lead playing.
I really enjoy this feel!! I like how it picks up and mellows back out with perfect flow. Kind of like breathing. Very relaxing vibe.

Super-cool, creative, emotional. The slide work is so damn good, intense lead as well, drums and guitar tone simply killer! Production shines as always. Wow.

Whoa . . . this song had me searching for my pipe! Another fresh original with some (maybe intended, maybe not) echoes to some earlier rock trend-setters. Space-Rock to the Max!

Excellent Tune..I really love the guitar work on this one..Reminds me a bit of Mathew Sweet!! The thoughts that it brings to my mind are of 9/11 and the Heroic people that brought down the last plane..Last calls to their loved ones...and also the people in the twin towers who knew it would be their Last call home..
A Brilliant piece of work guys..I like how you left this up for interpretation.. now let me know what it meant to you guys..

I hear the spagetti western soundtrack too, but then Clint looked confused everytime that phone rang.
I also thought I heard some early Pink Floyd in this, but it's been a long, long time since I listened to Pink Floyd, so maybe it was more the feeling that I got of just being able to drift away with the song.
Have to say again: brilliant song. Cool idea and a wonderful played slide guitar. Compliments. The Hooker Green
