This song was written about people of power... They take that power and try to destroy other people's lives... People use their words to shatter a life... They love what they do, it makes them feel good temporarily.... we have known many in our lives. We are sure you have run across your share.... At times these people lead countries, can you imagine that? Some of these people are your neighbors or teachers or social workers.....people who can make a difference in a child's life, yet choose words that shatter their lives... This is a song directed at those individuals...people who live for power.... Jerry & candace Willard

Howdy ~J&C~, Another of my favorite magical musical moments, "Shattered". I love the guitar and percussion, driving the melody on this song. Your vocals always transcend the norm, with emotion laced throughout!!!!! The lyrics have a message that points out something that's seemingly the norm these days.... that there is someone, some place out to cause harm.....from the big fish in the little pond to the sharks swimming in the oceans near or out of the government whose tentacles are out to quash what doesn't suit their purposes. This is a fantastic melody!!!!!! It relates urgency, to keep your eyes open and that harm has happened, can happen and will happen. It feeds power to the lyrics and the lyrics already had depth & strong meaning, so it's like squaring the impact.... but then add your vocals and it's cubed!!!!!! An excellent and very original song with an important message......and outright great listening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~Electric Shadow~ does it again, I love this song

I have always liked a simple un plugged sound, Much of this I did performing, just me an an Acoustic guitar, my roots were in acoustic rock and folk rock.Real nice job I love the lyrics great recording and all around nice, listen, nice touch with two vocals hear.
