Country Music Performer/Songwriter/Mike Anderson, Country Drifter
I have formed many Country Bands in my musical career in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Washington. and most have been "Mike Anderson and the Country Drifters" and all have been Country Bands with great musicans. (Secret: I did play rock & Roll in my High School years 1964-1968). I love Country Music, it has a special place in my heart. Singer Songwriter of Country Music, just recenty recorded 4 of my songs and 7 other songs in Nashville. Label: Westwood Int'l. Records; Produced & Arranged by Lonnie Ratliff. I would encourage anyone who has a dream to do something with their music to, "Go For It". This has been such a fulfilling experience that I wish I would have pursued this when I was in my 20's. I have been married to an Angel for 34 wonderful years and she has kept me focused on this dream. As I see it: "Life is too short not to follow your dream". Hope you enjoy my music. I plan to keep on entertaining for many years down the road. Country Music is my passion.

Lyrics
Red River Valley Key (D) for Mike Anderson Intro: Intr.-last two lines of Chorus (1) From this valley they say you are leaving We will miss your bright eyes and sweet smile For they say you are takin' the sunshine That has brightened our pathway a while ... (Chorus) Come and sit by my side if you love me Do not hasten to bid me adieu Just remember the Red River Valley And the cowboy that's loved you so true (2) Won’t you think of that valley you are leavin' Oh how lonely how sad it will be Yes and think of that fond heart your breakin' And the grief you are bringing to me (Musical fill) (Chorus) (3) As you go to your home by the ocean May you never forget those sweet hours That we spent in the Red River Valley And the love that we shared midt’s the flowers (Chorus) Come and sit by my side if you love me Do not hasten to bid me adieu Just remember the Red River Valley And the cowboy that's loved you so true (Tag Last two lines)
