A native of York County, PA, Wanda grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee, attending ETSU. For 31 years, she resided in Jacksonville, Florida, but recently moved to Kingsland, GA, just 20 miles from where she lived in FL. She is known for her heart-stirring, down-to-earth writings that originate from her life experiences, good and bad, happy and sad. Wanda has made two spoken word recordings of her poetry, now available through CD BABY and other digital download sites, including here. She is currently working on her new novel, and collaborating on song lyrics with UMPHREY JACKSON of Miami, FL. In addition to winning Third Place in the international VOICES OF SERENITY competition, sponsored by The Ancient Wind Press and Poet of the Week from LOOKING WITHIN (a poets' group), her work has been honored with several Editor's Choice and honorable mention awards. Wanda is published in numerous poetry anthologies in the US and England.
