Hi! Welcome to my page. I'm a busy mom of 4 that dabbles in songwriting from time to time. I haven't uploaded a lot of new material in a while. Working on that. Story behind the song
I wrote this song when my husband went overseas with the military for the first time. He was gone for three months and the separation was practically unbearable. But, I knew in my heart that our marriage was strong, as was our love, and I wanted to write a song about the inner feelings surrounding that. I call it "Cliche" because the lyrics are terribly so, but that was the intention when writing the song. Sometimes the most simple metaphors are a perfect description for what we're feeling at the time :)
