Blackland: Southern Rock-N-Roll
BLACKLAND: original rock-n-roll. The band has been peforming since 1998 at clubs, festivials and fairs throughout the Southeast. We have released three albums so far and working on a forth. Blackland's all original music comes from the heart and soul of Muscle Shoals, Alabama but don't be confused, you will hear very little (if any) of the old "Muscle Shoals Sound". The music has been described as "Metallica meets Skynyrd" and we are totally cool with that, actually we embrace it. The band makes it home in the former East Avalon Recorders facility in Muscle Shoals. The studio is now known as Clear Day Studio and our music is published through Cleardaymessenger Publishing.
