Story behind the song
The first drums/piano are a programmed beat in my keyboard, but everything else is me.I wrote this song many years ago as a simple prayer song.
Lyrics
Father hear my prayer And let your glory be hidden no more Father hear my prayer And let your secrets be concealed no more I know your there How longs it gonna take Till these eyes we have open And the truth is revealed In what you've spoken Father hear my cry And let the children suffer no more Father hear my cry And let the children suffer no more I know your there I know your there I know your there Words and music by: Danny Horton copyright 2001

The past is holy, the dead are holy ( mind you : in peacetime the sons bury their fathers, but in war the fathers bury their sons... ). Me ? I am certain of nothing but the truth of imagination. I will never be ready to meet the infinite and look into its eyes for all my sins are... so... f*****g... many... I live in the dirt, yet regard myself as noble. Can you hear me... ? Slowly building and evolving piece - a sense of rock, a sense of doubt, a sense of gospel, a sense of searching, a sense of gettin' there in time. At all times - peace, Johannes.

Dude, Power. Space. And David Gilmour on guitar! It would be right at home on Momentary Lapse of Reason. (one of my all time favourite albums). Now, where can I get this 'power and space' stuff???? Really @#%&!! good.

Nice touch with the minor chords, Danny, for this soulful prayer in song. :D Nice guitar work, and nice hamonies. :D The Pan flute adds a mournful touch to the music.

This is a very haunting, soulful song. The darkness gives the track a lot of dramatic power. Love the flute and the vocals are superb.
