Story behind the song
This is a rough mix - I know its too crowded. I will work on it some more. My ears are fried now... My first song using Sonar software. I'm ready to drop back and punt and go back to what I know - the BR532 4-track and MAGIX software... HELP!

I'm steel reeling WOW!!! JP your fantastic, and your music is on the loose,thats unreal! No Way..l am so impressed....don't know what to say but l know what Tammy is saying and well it should be said if we feel its true, I once heard a group in Berlin and l thought this guy sung better than Elvis at least some of his songs, TRUE never ever dreamt i'd say something like that b4 to say I sincerely believe that too, is true. cant believe I have not rated this before. Probably did before the 5 star salute system. How about 6 stars. Great song and great pic of you and Amy. This song is so uplifiting and then that lead guitar takes almost a sinister turn. Genius. I put an all accoustic version of No Place like Home up was taking your advice for live recording practice your song and know it well. So I did it yesterday at the Maxfest studio Tom and I go to once a year. I put up my friday night practice round that I recorded and added a lead gtr to today. Wont have the real deal until August.

Johnny, This song is really cool.Its got a dark feel ( in the instrumentation and arrangement and then there the very well done vocals that carry a happy upbeat feel and they balance each other nicely. I think maybe a tighter bass sound with no verb Great job. p e a c e

Johnny, It's been a while. I am listening to "WE GOTTA STICK TOGETHER" and wondering why I didn't listen to this song before. I don't think I am too liberal in my rating to give this a definite 5 stars. I love the ambience and spacious panning you did on this song. Would you believe for one moment, I actually thought you had The Beach Boys backing you up. 'Cause some of your back up vocals were in falsetto and others in your natural voice, giving it that "full" sound. Then I remembered, Johnny like Wayne does all his harmonies :-) Great listen! A relevant song for our current times!

accidental or genius ? I don't think I have heard too many songs with colorful changes almost like Elvis Costello wrote this song with Brain Wilson . That razor sharp guitar solo makes it sound so fresh and cool . great song , great everything , mix , production , harmonies, recording cheers D

Sweet 60s vibe on this like the Turtles meet the Beach Boys. Really like that "Happy Together" style keyboard riff. Nice job singing pulling those high notes out of the air. Well done. :) I've got some new stuff you'd probably like.
