Story behind the song
Avebury stone circle gorsedd meetings of druids and pagans and being in love. It started life as a poem which was published in Cyrkel Spynn Goth & Pagan zine but I added music and it developed into this recording with the help of Nathaniel Shelley of Transposer.
Lyrics
Many roads I have travelled Many hard times I have known Carrying the weight of the world And feeling so alone I don't know what it is about you Maybe I know you from another life that's flown Whatever it is I don't want to lose you Don't leave me here to weep and moan Won't you come and stay with me Be my one true love Now you see who I am as you gaze into my eyes And I see who you are And I'll never tell you lies We met again in springtime When the daffodils had grown With the warmth of summer solstice Bring my harvest home From the time of summer solstice Bring my harvest home.
