A one drop essential reggae dance track about a former MATW singer who went AWOL somewhere along the way. Fond memories mixed with regrets that his impulsive nature led to his undoing.

Greetings musicians and listeners , we are Man At The Window - Scotland's own Reggae writing and production team. Gerry Coogan & Kyle Robertson, both born in Glasgow during the swinging sixties, started working together in 1980 and after a wee hiatus to raise a couple of families of reggae-ites, have recently got together again to write and record the "Revelations" album. Now, having completed the initial demo recordings, we are looking for backing to release this reggae album beyond our independent limitations.

Story behind the song
Sweet T by manatthewindow A track we recorded about a former vocalist, Tam 'Sweet T' Campbell, who had a great voice and a natural command of an audience but he had what transpired to be a catastrophic flaw... his desperation to be the centre of attention led him to make some foolish judgements which ultimately proved fatal. It has to be said we miss him but life must go on. The new songs have been recorded with Gerry and Kyle singing all the leads and we'll soon be ready to hit the road again. So, wherever you are Tam, peace be with you. Big Love, Kyle & Gerry
Lyrics
Sweet T by manatthewindow Sweet 'T' (Sweeter Than Sweet) - lyrics You sang a sweet song, it come from your heart, Driven by melody while a discord nearly tore us all apart. You'd hide in the spotlight, hooked on the dream, The flaw in the concept, believing you were bigger than the team Before the problems had begun You brought a smile to everyone. Golden days of innocence, believing we were kings, We thought we could conquer anything. And now with experience, we all learned many things, You got to stand by one another Cause we were all on the same side together. You were no angel, but neither was I And so on reflection, I say who were we to criticise? Broader then Broadford, sweeter than sweet, In the south of the city a man learns to stand on his feet. And now when all is said and done You thought you were the only one Golden days of innocence, believing we were kings, We thought we could conquer anything. And now with experience, we've all learned many things, You got to stand by one another 'Cause we are all on the same side together. You timeshared your women, so many affairs, Despite all the dramas, I guess, all your lovers, they still care. Sometimes when we're jamming I feel you're still there, And your spirit lingers as if you're present somewhere in the air. And now when all is said and done Maybe you were the only one. Golden days of innocence, believing we were kings, We thought we could conquer anything. And now with experience, we've all learned many things, You got to stand by one another Cause we were all on the same side together. You don't get heavy with your brother When you are all on the same side together.
