Welcome to my page! I hope you like it here. I’ve been writing songs on and off for the past 30 years. I tend to write country although I'm known to write songs that are more folk or rock. Sometimes when I sit down with a guitar I surprise myself with what comes out!

Lyrics
Note: Céad míle fáilte (cade meelah fall-cha) means “a hundred thousand welcomes.” A bodhran (bow-rawn) is an Irish drum I Wish We Could be Green Everyday There’s a party at the pub and everybody’s gathered round Murphy’s on the banjo, and Ryan’s on the pipes McDougal’s got his fiddle and I’ve got my guitar And with Kelly on the bodhran we’re in for quite a night! Chorus: Oh! Céad míle fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes Everybody’s Irish, on St Patrick’s Day The Guinness is flowin’ and the music’s really goin’ Oh I wish we could be green every day – hey! The singing’s gettin’ loud and the drinks are pourin’ fast Maguire swears that she sees a leprauchaun And just when it looks like we’re wrapping up the night Someone wants to hear another Irish drinkin’ song! Oh! Céad míle fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes Everybody’s Irish, on St Patrick’s Day The whiskey’s flowin’ and the music’s really goin’ Oh I wish we could be green every day – hey! We’ve been partyin’ for hours and the drinks have finally stopped I’ve got blisters on my fingers and the night is slowin’ down The room is spinnin’, we can’t drink another drop But McCarthy’s raised his glass and bought the crowd another round! Oh! Céad míle fáilte, a hundred thousand welcomes Everybody’s Irish, on St Patrick’s Day The drinks keep on flowin’ and the music keeps on goin’ Oh I wish we could be green every day Yeah I’m gonna feel pretty green after today…!
