Story behind the song
A track for jazz giant Mike Brecker who passed away in january his music meant a lot to me a master musician with the ability to touch deep into your soul one I loved his modern inventions most his "Now you see it Now you dont" is my ultimate fusion album when "Return of the Brecker Brothers" album came out I couldnnt get enough listening to his sax in particular one track "Spherical"just blew my mind so when the Breckers Mike and Randy came to the Uk on tour in 1993 I had to go just to hear "Spherical" live 1 min 40 secs of the best soul jazz sax solo the playing was incredible and my emotions were all over the place with the sense of depth of feeling of his sax thats why to me he will always be one of the greatest sax players in modern jazz and music.
