Story behind the song
Even though almost everyone is a critic to some degree, a roomate I had in the early 80's was such a rude critic, I wrote the song.

Well-produced track with cool guitar riffs especially guitar solo. Especially admire the vocals and lyrics particularly like the message. Great song.

I love this tune, not just because of the straight ahead rock n roll with really sweet acoustics added, nor the really fine vocal performance, but I love it because of the lyrics. Everyone here's a critic, most of the time voting on jealousy rather than the merits of the work. Everyone's trying to knock you down so that their works can be higher on the charts, so a lot of these so called musicians, which are not of course, will give you one star. The problem with this voting anonymously is just that. Soundclick should show who the voter is to make this real. I never vote anonymously, I have never given a one star, I'd rather not vote if I can't find anything good to say about a song. Good show Leo, keep up the great works, and thanks for writing a song about "the critics"....hehehehe....and shame on soundclick for having this voting anonymous.

I can't believe I haven't never commented on this one. I know it's been abound for awhile, I guess I'm just slow. :) Excellent song writing and the arrangement is killer. Sweet vocals and guitar work. Nice Classic Rock vibe and cool lyrics. Outstanding work!!!

Above the critical fray. The lyrics are excellent, the subject near and dear. Some really clever instrumental accents to the lyrics, in fact, all the instrumentation is attention grabbing.
