Now 22, Allen Keon Lee first received his calling at age 11. “..kids was bringing demos to school and I was like I can do that.” So he went home that night and proposed to Hip-Hop. That was the beginning of Smoke’s long journey to a record deal driving in a real fast car. During the gang & drug infested 90’s, he had to try to keep up with the pace to keep the peace. So there’s no mystery that he hooked up with a local crew called Phast Life. The group consisted of his brother and 3 other members. On his come-up, Smoke found himself working with a local group called Rushya. They had heard of each other through Boston’s, “small world hotline” and had mutually admired each other’s work. The two groups got together and collaborated on a compilation album that was released independently on XVIII Entertainment. Now signed, Smoke intends to keep the mic smokin’. He’s here to represent Boston’s elite and any other hood that gets no love because they’re not New York based. His explosive first single “Smoke Did It” will liven up the airwaves upon impact.
