Story behind the song
The guitar made me do it... a Taylor T5, mostly. Sometimes you feel trapped by a song until you complete it, it haunts you, gives you earworms, etc. This track took some time to complete, was always put on the back burner, I worked on it during different spans of time, might have made it a bit overworked sounding. Tried to stick to the original thoughts, when first composed, but time and unlimited choices make a mess out of things every time.

Don't know how I missed this one (and it's sure been a long time since I dropped in). Love what you do BW. The music is sooo good. Where you been? You still making music? Drop me a line. :)

Softly haunting, flawless produced, a singular touch, very inspirating for sure!! I noticed the professional balance of the instrumentations, this is a master piece IMHO. :) -Spin-

Hi! Thanks for your taken a listen to "Betty Grey Belle". I am really glad I came to your' band page. The music here is great. Nu jazz is Nu to me. But my first taste here with " Six Reasons To Stay" has got my attention. I've added this to "songwriter's Station" cause I like this song so much. I'm checking out more of you songs right away.

Smooth and precise guitar work Bobby! The Taylor sounds full and sweet.. overall introspective moodiness comes thru. Sometimes a tune just takes time .. like a fine wine ;)
