Hi and thank you for visiting my SoundClick Page. I'm currently 15 years old and have been singing since the age of 2. I remember going to church while my momma rehearsed to sing that morning, either in the choir, praise team or a solo. As soon as I could walk, I walked up on stage, and reached for her microphone. She handed it to me and smiled. You know what, I never let go of the microphone lol and I never will. It is something inside that burns. I remember telling my momma one day, "Momma, if I don't sing, I don't wanna breathe." Realizing the passion inside me with her eyes full of tears, she said, "Then sing baby because God has given you a gift and to whom much is given, much is expected." So that was the beginning of my singing journey, wherever it takes us, we always have fun, meeting awesome people, getting lost in the car lol, and most importantly enjoying each day. Whether the crowd is small or large, it never makes a difference to me, cuz I gotta sing :-) Hope you enjoy your stay and come out to one of my gigs somethime, we are all in this together, so lets make a difference. One thing is for sure, you are loved and appreciated very much. Georgia hugz, Moriah :-)

Lyrics
He was tired and achin' Hitchin' all the way to Macon His knapsack and guitar was in his hand A young man with a vision Who had come to this decision He was out to start a Southern boogie band And like the Allman Brothers Lynyrd Skynyrd lots of others Who shared those blessed roots from where he came With the songs of his creation And strong determination He would take his place among those famous names CHORUS: You gotta feel the rhythm when he plays Southern rock You always feel that rhythm runnin' through you like a shock Feel that driving rhythm, so contagious you can tell It's a little bit of heaven that can raise a lot of hell Southern rock and roll's alive and well With guidance from the good Lord He found his bass and keyboards And a drummer who could keep that drivin' beat They played the local places Became familiar faces And always brought the crowd to its feet When they finally got the chance They headed for Atlanta And a contract with a label to record They really put their soul Into Southern rock and roll And a platinum album was their reward CHORUS: You gotta feel the rhythm when they play Southern rock You always feel that rhythm runnin' through you like a shock Feel that driving rhythm so contagious you can tell It's a little bit of heaven that can raise a lot of hell Southern rock and roll's alive and well They're the Southland's main attraction Guarantee your satisfaction They play to sell-out crowds on every tour The Grammys recognize them And girls just idolize them Their fans are always left wanting more From the moment they set up The band is really revved up When they start to play you lose your self-control They earned their reputation As the best band in the nation For playing good old Southern rock and roll CHORUS: You gotta feel that rhythm when they play Southern rock . . . TAG: It's a little bit of heaven that can raise a lot of hell Southern rock and roll's alive and well
