Story behind the song
Giancarlo Minardi had a FIAT dealership, and formed an F1 racing team based in Faenza in 1979. His team took part in F1 from 1985 - 2005, when it was finally sold to Red Bull. Giancarlo should be honoured as he was a privateer, who managed to keep the team running even though his cars were always near the back end of the grid. He deserves great respect for it!
