A jab at local 'extreme' types.

We suck delicately.
Soilcreep was formed in the summer of 1991 by Ross Stapf, Jason Crock, Tom Trout, and myself. It was going to be a one show and out deal while Ross was home from college. We wrote some songs and practiced twice and put on a show in the basement of Crock's grandma's house. It was a good time and that was it. Ross went back to school and we went back to whatever recreational drugs we could find at the time. A couple of years later Tom and I were playing in another band together that we were not so happy with. At some point Tom quit and I was fired and we started kicking around the idea of doing Soilcreep again. We talked to Crock and he was into it and we began to put shit in motion. The big problem was a lack of a guitar player. Ross was in D.C. still in school and we knew nobody who was into the kind of shit we wanted to do. At some point I decided play guitar despite the fact that I had never played guitar in my life outside of beating out "Smoke On The Water" on my grandfather's acoustic from time to time. My lack of guitar chops won't be lost on our listeners, but neither will that fact that above all else we were just three dumb asses playing to spite anyone bored enough to listen to the crap. We played our last show in 1998 in Parkersburg WV, and thought we were done with the shit again until this past year when Tom and I decided once again that it was time grace the world with our special brand of suckitude. Presently we're working on some new songs and hope to find a way to play them in front of someone soon. Soilcreep is: Tom Trout - Drums, vocals Jason Crock - Bass, vocals Jason Lockhart - Vocals, guitar

Story behind the song
I wrote this about the local low rider driving "EXTREME" dudes with the "NO FEAR" stickers on their silly cars.
