Thank you for looking at the 'Donegal Street' page and hope you enjoy the music. All music and lyrics by Christopher Martin Hansen. Christopher's solo acoustic guitar CD 'Once Upon A String...' is available for purchased here - Have decided not to continue this project. With the loss of one of my collaborative singers, I have lost the passion and fire for this. Thanks to all who listened and left messages. Can't express my appreciation enough.

Lyrics
It was long ago and far away, near the shores of Innishfree. Amongst the heather that lines the glen, down to the rocks that greet the sea. Along this winding road, I fell into A deep and fitful sleep But woke to smiling Irish eyes, within an ancient dream. Along the lane of cobblestones, we stroll along, hand in hand. Beside the brook where the songbird sings, past the windy willows dance. Into a world of sunny days, I never knew I'd ever see. I've found my home and love, within you here, Innishfree. And come the evening, the songbird sings time to bid a fond farewell. To catch the ferry to that distant shore. I hear the tolling of the bell. But the dream holds back the heart, that's left behind and whats between. I turn to find the mist and I, return to Innishfree. Across the firth I ferry on, to where my heart it longs to be. Amongst the heather that lines the glen, My love waits there for me. I hear the pypes a callin' forth, But through the mist they seem to fade. Like dreams of love and youth, I bid fair thee well, Innishfree.
