Ambient piano is the name Joffry Arthur has given to his music. His style of ambient piano is not only easy listening but makes you at ease: accessible, dreamy
Joffry Arthur is born & raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He plays the piano since he was 6. At the age of 15 he was the youngest participant at a Boogie Woogie Festival held in Rotterdam the Netherlands. Joffry played many different styles with several bands and toured with them all over Europe. He decided to go his own way and developed his ambient piano style. On 20 July 2006 Joffry Arthur released his CD "Childhood" which contains seven songs of his "solo ambient pianoconcert". Ambient piano is the name he has given to his music. His style of ambient piano is not only easy listening but makes you at ease: accessible, dreamy piano music. Music for daydreams, for relaxing, for lounging. His ambient style conjures up pictures in the listener’s mind, like a film rolling by. The music is all about atmosphere, of listening to beautiful music on a warm summer evening while watching the sun go down. The peaceful, comforting sounds of a real acoustic piano or grand piano, played with sensitivity, is the perfect accompaniment to a perfect night. Ambient piano is the music for any romantic setting, inside or out, during the day or at night. Currently he's the Featured Artist on Weedshare.com, the smart digital distribution system that rewards people who help sharing the music:

In a single word? Superb. I bought the album on the back of this and, whilst the other pieces are great too, this is by far the standout track.
