Ever had a bad day when you feel like speaking your mind and righting a few wrongs?. Me too. This song was inspired by the film Falling Down starring Michael Douglas but has touches of bitter personal experiences in there too.
Admirers of all guitar based music i.e. Blues,Rock,Metal and all sub genre's. We do however have upmost respect for anyone creating original music regardless of
Hello. The Thorn Corporation is a collection of ideas and inspirations put together with live instruments and audio sampling. Between the two of us we have clocked up many hours of live performances and Bill Taylor (vocals, harp, lyrics) is currently with a new band in the studio called "Twistbone Valley". I had the opportunity to watch them rehearse recently and was very impressed. I personally gigged with my own blues rock band "Tax Dodge" for more years than I care to mention and may even re-emerge at sometime to upset the neighbours once more !!! Peace

Lyrics
Had enough Of you pressuring me Dragging me down And 3rd degree Release my mind Your hold on me Break the chains Set me free I’m fighting back Gonna take you out Better clear a path If your in doubt Gotta smoking gun and your in my sight gonna lose your life in the dead of night As I hear voices in my head Of all the wicked things you said And as I lay you down to sleep As my heart is thumpin Pray the lord my soul to keep Weak of mind And soft of heart You beat me down Right from the start No matter how I tried to please The constant pressure Would never cease So I left my car On a busy road Tried to move away From the heavy load Got a bag of guns As I blazed a trail Right across the hood Unaware of my tail This is the way my story ends They shot me down in self d-fens And as the darkness closes in This was a situation That I was never gonna win
