Inspired by the final beach scene in 'Doomsday' - Doctor Who fans will need no explanation. The melancholy vibe to the music just came out of that really. There were originally samples of Cybermen voices in the mix, but unfortunately I couldn't get clearance from the BBC to use them. The vocal effects that do appear were created by synthesised text to speech, while the singing voices are adapted from a Kate Lesing sample !
(And if you hear a slightly annoying 'echo' of the note at the very beginning it's due to a technical hitch with my software that I'm trying to resolve).
