This song tells of a lonely man that finds company with a friend over the telephone, sadly the friendship is one sided and the price he has to pay is high. Thrill Bill is a great live song with great atmosphere, the band play great lines, Dan Morgan accents with cheeky riffs highlighting the vocals and the whole song sits on the smoothest of jazzy bassline and beat.
