Very upbeat new bluegrass style. With some interesting lyric.

Hi All,
I'm a songwriter, mainly country and gospel with a little pop, soft rock and jazz thrown in to keep you confused.

Lyrics
In Hillbilly Heaven
In Hillbilly Heaven stands a water tower still,
Where moonshine comes bubbblin’ right down the hill.
It spouts like a fountain at the Hickory Holler spring,
There’s nothing left to do, but drink it and sing.
In Hillbilly Heaven every corncob pipe is filled,
The black bear lies down and acts like he’s been killed.
The coon climbs the tree right outside your door,
The outhouse ain’t got no flies and don’t stink any more.
So bring out the banjo, the dulcimer too.
Thump on that washtub kick off your shoes
Saw on the fiddle spin your best girl around,
Shoot off your shotgun ‘cause you like the sound.
In Hillbilly Heaven all the fleas have dogs,
The catfish come wigglin’ right up from the bogs.
They split up all your kindlin’ and fry themselves, too--
And bake up cornbread biscuits just for me and for you.
In hillbilly heaven the shingles self repair
While you are snoozin’ in your rockin’ chair.
Your cute kissin’ cousin still has her front teeth,
And persimmon stars grace the Ozark’s calm peace.
So bring out the banjo, the dulcimer, too.
Thump on that washtub kick off your shoes.
Saw on the fiddle spin best your girl around
Shoot off your shotgun ‘cause you like the sound.
Come on now hillbillies, the brush arbor is set,
Let’s all traipse to the preachin’ to pay our soul’s debt.
There even Sin Eater he can come clean at last,
When into God’s ocean our dark sins are cast.

In Hillbilly Heaven we’ll all spit and grin,
No revenuers lurkin’ to catch us out again.
The gate fixes its hinges while we snore and scratch,
The watermelons slice themselves right out in the patch.
So bring out the banjo, the dulcimer, too.
Thump on that washtub kick off your shoes.
I’ll saw on my fiddle spin my best girl around,
I’ll shoot off my shotgun ‘cause I like the sound.
I’ll saw on my fiddle spin my best girl around
I’ll shoot off my shotgun ‘cause I like the sound.
