I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

Story behind the song
I was studying Martin Luther and Justification by Grace years ago and the comfort offered by the Gospel inspired this song.
Lyrics
For so long I've been so scared To be myself with you But you know all about me How could I fool you? You've opened up the doors And now I'm truly yours And there's no law of judgment left between us Abba Father, Abba Father! You are more than God to me I'm so full of trouble that I don't know what to do My sins overwhelm me and then I run away from you Just when I need you most I need to feel you close Though you have never left me for a moment I need you, Abba Father, Abba Father! You are more than God to me Sometimes I see you as a prosecuting lawyer A terrible destroyer Coming down to pay me for my sins Then i hear you calling from the voice of faith inside It was for me He died - Your Son who sets me free from sin So I know I will never be an orphan anymore You've come down to adopt me I belong to you for sure You've claimed me as your own I'll never be alone And no man can remove me from your mighty hand I love you, Abba Father, Abba Father! You are more than God to me (c) 1991 Old Sarge Music

Johnny Proctor Abba Father OK this is a pop surfer version of an original Christian song… It was a lot of fun, had a good feel to it and the message was outstanding! The vocals were distinctive and well done. The only problem I had was that the percussion seemed out of sorts at times. This was a drawback because all the other instruments were so well done… ***For fuller reviews, and any comments (or better exposure for your music) link to: http://board.soundclick.com/viewtopic.php?t=255812 or link to the Sound Click “Christian” forum and click on the random reviews thread***
