This ain't your scarecrow's brain song, though it is inspired by "The Wizard of Oz." This is the yellow brick road not taken. This song asks the question: What if you went down the yellow brick road only to find nothing at the end?

Bill, Excellent job capturing the Hollies/Badfinger sound with your own originality. These lyrics are outstanding - you have superb talent in crafting lyrical hooks. hello bill, again a brilliant work and i mean, i have hear this song before at any other places(radio?)....and, the lyric is really only great. the vocals are beautiful and powerful and the melody´s very sweet....this song have sure really hit-character. here in germany is at moment bad weather and rain fall, but a good song bring sunshine in the thoughts....and i will easy don´t go outside:)....i think today is a good day to play guitar and make "good-weather-music". and perhaps, we have really only a brain, who know´s it sure?....and george w.bush is than only a programming-bug:) have a good and joyful day,fogy

Bill, Excellent job on this song.You did a great job presenting the (brit)angle.I really liked the lyrics and vocal work. I'm not sure the snare(double single double)works real well but I understand the difficulty making drum tracks.(i couldnt program my drum machine if I had to)Usually I lay down a repetative drum track and them add a live snare/kick track over it to get a bit more variety. But once again a really cool tune . I'm very impressed.
