Story behind the song
The National Day of Prayer Contest was announced, and Dodes and Von (after discussiong on the phone of course) decided they just HAD to try. Dodes was in control of the lyric, Von and Art would work the music. the theme was HONOR GOD, with scripture taken from the book of Samuel. We worked so many hours on this, oh the discussions on the phone, the late, LATE nights praying that we would deliver a MESSAGE.... GLORY, our prayers were answered, we were gifted with this song.... one of our favorites. When we were notified of our "Honorable Mention" status, we were THRILLED to hear that we were the only non pros to get that far.... Talk about a lot of praising and shouting!!! God is GOOD!!!
