Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Insidious was introduced to a life of challenges and hardships. Being raised as an only boy in a one parent family of four, the expectations for greatness were already being placed on his shoulders since birth. Without the prescence of a true father in his life, Insidious has learned the ropes of life from falling down and failing. He has overcome adversity by getting back on his own two feet, to conquer tasks many would deem impossible. Being a product of the streets, Insidious knew that he would either be another victim of the ghetto's wrath or fight his way out to become somebody. The choice was clear. And from his decision to go against the ghetto's plans, rap became this young man's passion. Growing up, he was heavily influenced by hip hop artists such as LL Cool J, a young Twista, and hometown talent Nasty Boy Klick (now known as NB Ridaz). Insidious was an avid poet in his early teenage years, and at the age of 15 he turned poetry into lyricism. His first demo song ever recorded was titled "Aggression". This track served as motivation to continue to do rap and deliever better quality for following musical ventures. Getting his feet wet at such an early age has helped Insidious to become the lyrical menace he is today. In 2005, he made his first professional track titled, "Ooh Boy" under the production of Beatlocker CEO and Producer, Tom Curtis. It was in this song that Insidious' style flourished. He demonstrated to the public his ability to deliever smooth rapid fire rhyming, laced with Spanish lyrics. This style has helped him to cross over into the Latino Rap field, where Insidious has become an instant favorite with the Latino Hip Hop community in Phoenix. He is currently working on his first Mixtape LP titled, "Rise of the Phoenix". As for radio play, Insidious has had support from local radio station KKFR Power 92.3 In late 2004, "State of Emergency" (an anthem for the rap game in Arizona) was played over Phoenix's airwaves. The majority of the public was captivated by the track and this served as positive motivation for Insidious. Performances are also a specailty for this artist. His first performance was in front of a crowd of 500! Insidious has also performed for Rap Star Devin the Dude. Currently, Insidious is a headliner for Adda2ud Promotions, one of the biggest local promotion comapnies in Phoenix. His music is well liked by people form every age and walk of life. On soundclick.com, Insidious is a top artist in the Latino Rap music field. Several of his tracks are among the top 100 in a field dominated by well over 50,000 other songs!! 2006 holds much opportunity for Insidious. In April of 2006, "Rise of the Phoenix", Insidious' first mixtape was released to the public. It has quickly become a street classic. This young man is as humble as they come and has a heart of gold.
