I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

Story behind the song
This song is a wake up call. The events of our lifetime point squarely and unambiguously to the coming of the Messiah.
Lyrics
Down to the Top Words and music by Johnny Proctor Shuffle your fingers and twiddle your feet Loosen the knot of your tie Stare over there where the glare of your care Disappears in the afternoon sky Go down to the top Don’t wait for the bottom to drop Look in the book you mistook for a lie ‘Cause its later than it seems Over above are the things that you love Shoving your conscience aside Blistering blasphemy bleeds through the noise Scaling the wall of your pride Go down to the top Don’t wait for the bottom to drop Look in the book you mistook for a lie ‘Cause its later than it seems Lickity split from your Sunday school skit Rosary forgot to pray Passover mystery foretelling history Leaving no area gray Go down to the top Don’t wait for the bottom to drop Look in the book you mistook for a lie ‘Cause its later than it seems © 2006 Old Sarge Music

Hi Johnny, It had been a while - and since I have had computer problems I had not been playing my stations - for the last 6 months. - I was playing this one every day on my station for a long while. I guess people leave their account and their stars don't count as this one shows no stars. This is a 5 star song - so if I am not able to play your song, so often, let me give you some stars anyway.
