Stephen J. Waters (aka) “Wretched Man”, a stage name it took from Romans 7:24, was born in Los Angeles and raised in the bricks of New York City to a life of gangs, drugs, and crime. A beautiful young daughter and a union carpentry job brought him to Minnesota.
After 20 years of the drugs and violence of gang life, Stephen came to the end of himself. With nowhere else to turn he cried out to God to save him. He eventually ended up at Teen Challenge where his life was turned around.
Upon successful completion of Teen Challenge, Stephen moved to Lakeville, MN where he started Kingdom Works Construction and Kingdom Works Productions in 2006. Kingdom Works Productions was born out of Stephen’s commitment to Christ and his desire to proclaim the gospel through music. With Biblical truths and raw street elements, “Wretched Man” boldly brings the light of Christ to a lost generation.
