Story behind the song
Randy and his son Travis were driving down the road one day and Travis asked his dad if he became a coountry star, would he still be proud of him. He said he would and Randy got to thinking about that, pulled over beside a country road in Maine and wrote this song, "Would Hank Be Proud of Me...

Randy's song will also be heard on the sound track of Countryfolk Films feature-length film, "Barefoot Country Girl" to be released in 2007.
