In January 2003 a young, dynamic and confident 18 year old Jamaican female entered the music business, it was thought by some that she would not last in her chosen career path. Over 3 years later Kris Kelli is still in the business and has established herself as one to keep an eye on. 1n 3 years she has toured the USA and performed in 11 States as well as Toronto Canada, she has performed on a number of major shows in Jamaica including SPRING BRUKOUT, SPRINGFEST, SUMFEST, HEINEKEN HOUSE PARTY, CHAMPIONS IN ACTION, TEEN SPLASH, STING 2004 and DANCEALL ROCK, as well as co-host and performed at VP's Reggae Gold in London. To date she has had two number 1 hits in Italy on their Top 20 Reggae Chart, FLIP UP and UPTOWN TOP RANKIN as well as four Top 20 chart toppers in Austria, ONLY FOR LOVE, BABY COME TO ME, SINCE THE VERY START and MY WORLD. She was nominated in the Reggae Soca Music Awards 2004 as best New Artiste and in 2005, best Female Singer in the Best of the Caribbean 2005 Ballot by Caribia Digest. 2005 was a serious production year for Kris Kelli as she spent most of the year working on the tracks for her debut Album, as a result, she has provided her Management Team with some 32 tracks to choose from. We can look out for the Album sometime in the 4th quarter of 2006. On entering the music business she worked with the FIWI Music Label, she has since fullfilled that obligation and is now working with a number of Producers. She has done some collaborations with notable artistes like, Beenie man, Vybz Kartel, and Macka Diamond. Kris Kelli has dedicated her time, energy and efforts in the development of her craft and is here to stay.
