Tenor Scott Priest’s opera debut was in the Washington DC area in the role of Ricardo in Oberto. Priest received critical acclaim for his portrayal, and performed throughout the metropolitan area. Priest has worked with several opera companies including Washington, Baltimore, Annapolis, Virginia and Northern Virginia, as well as the Summer Opera program, where he performed in numerous productions, including, La Traviata, La Boheme, Madama Butterfly, Turandot, Jenufa, Otello, L’Elisir D’Amore, Pomme d’api, La Princesse Jaune, Gianni Schicchi, to name a few. Priest also has performed several oratorio engagements and continues to receive great acclaim, which has afforded him the opportunity to perform solo concerts both in the United States and internationally. Priest has recently moved to Southern California, and looks forward to working in the region.
