Story behind the song
I was thinking about my life's dream and how aspiring to be another singer/songwriter in the already-full sea of artists must seem ridiculous. I realized that to some people being a 'dreamer' is taking the easy way in life and not really settling down into the reality of being a grown up. I, on the other hand, feel that being a dreamer, artist or visionary is actually a more difficult road to follow.
