My girlfriend dumped and I just felt terrible remembering everything about it and I wanted everyone to know (especially her) how terrible I felt. This song is like a reminder. It was actually originally titled 'Do You Remember?' but Gone sounded better. Of course that stupid N'SYNC had to go and copy us. Oh well.
