I wrote this song the first time I was stationed in South Korea in 1999. Now that I am back in Korea, it seemed right to feature this song that came to me as an inspiration back in a lonely period of my life.

I am an independent writer/performer/producer making summery sounds with lots of harmony, guitars, and emotion.
Brian Wilson said of his epic work Pet Sounds, "I wanted to make the listener feel loved." Those words have always remained with me and I hope to share loving, healing sounds with the listener as well.

Lyrics
Sweet Release Words and music by Johnny Proctor Let your spirit soar in the height Of love in the light of heaven above you Take this happiness, this peace Give your soul a sweet release The hardest part is over The hardest part is over Youve suffered so deeply Youre healing so sweetly In the Lord, everythings restored Youve been waiting so long To sing this song where you belong Fear and anger all must cease Give your soul a sweet release The hardest part is over The hardest part is over Youve suffered so deeply Youre healing so sweetly In the Lord, everythings restored 1999 Old Sarge Music

Nice work, Johnny! :) The chord changes are really cool, especially the ones going up and up. :D If God brings you to it, He'll bring you through it..and that's a fact! :)

Majestic magical a real treasure of vocals. This is so much like a lost pet sounds track. Fantastic job! Well I was thinking about you and I see you are in Korea. I cant even imagine that. Tara is my world traveler she just came back from Spain and loved it. Wants to go back. Hope all is well with you and the family.
