C-Savage

Cory A. Williams, A.K.A “C-Savage” born June 8, 1977 to military parents on a naval base in Rota, Spain. After returning to the U.S. as an infant, he lived in Philadelphia Pa. until the age of three. Living with a drug addicted mother caused him to be rescued by his father and moved to Birmingham Al. Growing in a hood called Smithfield in a home of avid music lovers and being around musicians and national recording artists due to his father being a well known professional photographer gave life to his drive. Known as a well versed rap artist by A&R reps from major record labels such as Slip-N-Slide/Atlantic, Rap-A-Lot, T-Town music/Universal and Asylum, he has been compared to well known Lyricists such as T.I. and Eightball. Being signed to Raw Deal records and recording with well known southern rappers Mr. Niles and Pimp C from UGK on unreleased (take that monkey shit off) didn’t prove to be the right move for him so he sought out his close friend and high school rap partner Robert L. Hood A.K.A Phenomenon. After selling 1,500 copies of Soufsyde group album Flip-Flops & Sox and selling 5,500 copies of underground mix-tape “Unsigned Hustle” he has completed his solo mix-tape “Captain Caveman” and is currently working on Soufsyde group album Black Tie Affair, which will include Highly sought out Recording artist Birmingham J, and American Idol contestant Rick Parks. Amongst completing mix-tapes and albums, Soufsyde has done concerts and shows with Master P, Eightball and MJG, Young Jeezy, T.I. and P.$.C. to name a few. Soufsyde the group was started before the rapping and rhyme saying. C-Savage and Phenomenon met when they were Four years old and have been close (in fact) best friends every since, and after all the glitz and fame, shows and stardom it will continue on with two best friends holding it down for the Soufsyde.
